Composition one - Back to Basics

REVIEW: "Following compositional comments by Martin Grahame-Dunn leading the Mentor - me programme, I have been eagerly awaiting his DVD "Composition one - Back to the Basics".  During the turorial Martin covers many topics in a short space of time but very clearly and comprehensively.  He covers subtle details of dynamics that explain when to tilt or not tilt the camera in a way that is easy to understand and remember.  He also discusses the concepts of positive and negative space as well as analysing the pros & cons of different compositions.  The information in this short film is invaluable and is not readily available on the Internet or even books specifically on composition - I couldn't recommend this more highly to any aspiring photographer" - Pat Bloomfield February 2008
